Directed by Pierre Morales, under the artistic direction of Alain Ellouz, this documentary traces twenty years of an extraordinary journey , that of a man, a material, and a vision. From the quarry to the international recognition of the Maison, the film weaves a sensitive narrative combining memories, gestures, testimonies, and previously unseen archival footage.

Filmed in autumn 2025, L’Odyssée d’Alain Ellouz looks back on twenty years of artistic exploration, shaped by founding gestures, light, and transmission. The film brings together previously unseen archives, workshop imagery, conversations with the teams, and testimonies from those who have accompanied the Maison’s journey: Alain and Patrick Ellouz, Christel Martin, Nabila Elamri, Sylvaine Garcia, Ludovic Sourbé, Walid Janvier…
Balancing an intimate vision with a collective narrative, the film composes a language of light, alive, shared, and in constant motion.

L’Odyssée d’Alain Ellouz was unveiled in a preview screening on January 14, 2026, during a one-of-a-kind projection at the Grand Rex in Paris. In this iconic venue of cinema and spectacle, the Maison celebrated twenty years of creation through film, words, and shared perspectives.
Families, collaborators, architects, designers, and partners gathered to experience this powerful moment, between retrospective, emotion, and transmission. An evening to honor past gestures and collectively look toward the light of tomorrow.

Pierre Morales is a photographer and filmmaker.
His work explores the resonances between image, material, and sound, with a particular attention to composition, series, and silent narration.
Accustomed to creating dialogues between form and emotion—from live performance capture to portraits of luxury artisans, he delivers here a sensitive and structured documentary, blending documentary precision with an author’s gaze.
