L’Odyssée d’Alain Ellouz
L’Odyssée d’Alain Ellouz traces twenty years of an extraordinary journey, that of a man and a passion. From his beginnings in a quarry to the international recognition of his Maison, the film moves between personal memories and shared testimonies. Shot in autumn 2025, it draws on a rich body of archival images and interviews to tell the genesis of a language. Filmed with sensitivity by Pierre Morales, it brings to light those who, since 1995, have helped build this exceptional Maison, guided by rigor, humility, and passion.
This film is also a tribute. To the material, to the team, and to the beauty of the projects yet to come.

Through 240 pages combining narrative and imagery, it reveals the transformations of a once-forgotten stone that has become a language of light. From sculpture to object, from the intimate to the universal, the book explores the infinite forms inspired by alabaster, at times raw, at times sculpted.

On January 14, 2026, Alain Ellouz Paris celebrated its 20th anniversary in the prestigious setting of the Grand Rex in Paris. The evening brought together collaborators, partners, architects, designers, and close friends of the Maison, all gathered to share a powerful moment shaped by emotion and transmission. Tributes, images, speeches, and suspended moments punctuated this celebration, conceived as a living chapter in the history of alabaster.
